Here at MHBS we have already been using PaySchoolsCentral as a POS payment system. As such most of our parents have already created an account with them. If you haven't, see the Payment Section on this site and scroll to the area for how to use PaySchools Central to get started using that process.
This is area where you will create your account(as needed) and add students to your account.
NOTE: ANY PROBLEMS WITH SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT OR USING THE PRE-ORDER MEAL SYSTEM CALL OR EMAIL:

When you log in to PaySchools on the right side column you will find in the lists the Pre-Order Meals.
Click on the Pre-Order Meals and you will be brought to the Calendar by week or Monthly view and can start your order.
Looking at the Calendar you will see boxes under each date. The first box is the daily lunch special meal offering. There is a "meal detail" which you can click on and see the summary of what is included with that meal.
If you want more detail you can click order and when you close the bos you can keep it to order or remove it from cart.of what is being offered that day. In the detail area you will see add-ons such as sauce, and condiment choices and on certain meals the entree as a side. This entree side choice adds an extra helping to the entree portion. So for chicken nuggets it would double the amount of chicken nuggets. For pizza it add an extra slice of pizza.
Eventually, hopefully by September 20th, we will also have all the nutrition calculations done and entered so you can see them as well.
Now back to the daily calndar. For example : on our August menu for the 19th you will see
Chix Nugget Meal MSHS or Chix Nugget Meal ELE. (Depends on Grade level of your student)
A La Carte MWF
Daily A La Carte Drinks
Chicken Nuggets alc
First - MSHS is Middle School High School and covers 5th thru 12th grade while ELE is Elementary School and covers TK thru 4th grade. Choose the one for your student 's grade group you are ordering for if you decide to order the lunch meal.
You will also see add-ons/choices that come with the meal. You would decide to add such items as ketchup and/or mustard, type of dip sauce ie. BBQ, Honey Mustard; double portion of the entree such as double the chicken nuggets.
Second- A La Carte MWF - this is what we are offering on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you were to look at Tuesday you would see A La Carte TuTh which is what is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can scroll thru the drop down lists to choose items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads etc. The offerings will grow in variety as we move forward and become able to deliver a quality product in this process.
You will also see add-ons associated with the different items and can choose which ones according to the item.
Third - Daily A La Carte Drinks -This is for 5th thru 12 grade only. (Remember all lunch meals come with milk. For 5th thru 12th grade a choice of either 1/2 pint of whole white milk or whole chocolate milk. For TK thru 4th grade it is 1/2 pint whole white milk.)
In this section these are drinks that can be added to the meal which is an additional charge. You can choose from Sodas or Dasani Water (20oz), Minute Maid Juices (12 oz) , Powerade (16oz), a variety of Peace Teas(23oz).
Fourth - Sometimes the entree will also be offered as an A La Carte. If so it will appear listed on the menu day space last. If you choose it, it may or may not have add-ons or dip sauces, bread, condiments, etc.
Next, this system is a pre-order only. Here at MHBS we are letting parents/students order as far as as 20 days in advance. You may also order weekly, or daily or any combo you want. However in order to order a meal for any given day that order must be placed by 8:30am of the day. After that the system doesn't accept any orders for that day.
Of course we understand that on occasion it is possible that a student forgets to bring their lunch or an order didn't get completed. The current Covid Safety Rules do not allow any food etc. to be brought up to school by parents or other visitors , well it's ok. If you realize it before 9am you can call me direct at (256) 767-1203 extension 2024 or email me at email@example.com. , and you can tell me what you want your student to have and I will backdoor the order for you.
If no one contacts me but a teacher or Ms. Kim Chandler or Mr. Dexter Rutherford tell me we have a problem, we will choose the the lunch meal of the day so that the student will not go hungry.
If your student is a middle school grade or high school grade you can allow them to order with the same parameters in place. You can do this by either giving them your PaySchool Central log-in information or create their own account for them in PaySchools Central with their own information, log-in name and password. However, for them to place an order they will still need to be able to pay for it.
Finally, we are going into this new system at a reduced speed to get the bugs ironed out as needed as well as make sure our timing and delivery is "en pointe".
As part of this opening strategy we know that many of you currently have money in your PaySchools Account for your students. As we start this process we will allow that money to be used to pay for the meal items you order. In September,(we will set that date shortly), we will move to normal pay operations for MyMealOrder. This means when you order something you will be paying for it at that time you order it. More on this to come.
For right now when you order it will place items in the MyMealOrder cart for that student. To complete the order process you go to the cart. It will show a $0.00 balance owed. That is correct at this time. Complete the order process. The amount charged will be done at our regular cash register system based on the report for each day of what you ordered. So it will then go against your account for each particular student as it has in the past.
Prices can be found in the Menu Section of this website for the A La Carte items,. The regular daily meal offering which includes the 1/2 pint of milk is still $3.50. If there is a possible double entree order available it will add an additional $2.00.
If you are in a negative balance for a student's account or staff/faculty account from last year we are being gracious and allowing you to still use the system. However, it will continue to increase the total negative balance. As of September when we switch to regular MyMealOrder mode, the system will not allow negative balances because it will charge you for what you order when you order it.
